Digitrax Throttle, Panel, and Command Station Mounts

Digitrax Throttle Mount

These unique throttle mounts have an integrated power plug holder. Simply route a standard power plug cable through the slot and secure it with a cable tie or drop of hot glue. Place your DT or UT series throttle into the holder, give it a little wiggle and it will drop onto the plug and charge the battery. You can wire multiple units with the 2.1x5.5mm pigtails available from Amazon and other sources. We recommend printing these with tree supports "on the baseplate only" for optimal results.
Note that the plug holder is sized to fit the pigtails from Amazon, which are fairly standard. When I used a self-solder connector I had to trim about 3/16" of the strain relief off to achieve the same level fit. The plug should fit such that only the barrel extends above the base of the holder.

Digitrax UP Panel Mount Easily mount your UP5, UP7, or UR9x panels from the bottom edge of your layout frame without exposing any sharp edges. Barely larger than the panel itself, and less than 1/2" thick, this mount is unobtrusive and effective. Standard supports will prevent any stringing in the screw-head recess, but supports are optional.

Digitrax 2xx Series Command Station / Booster Mount Mount your 2xx series Digitrax Command Station (DCS210/220/240) or Booster (DB210/220) to any vertical surface. The bottom is open to allow air flow across the heat sink for convection cooling. An optional fan module can be glued in place to add a 40mm box fan for forced air cooling. The small tab is attached with a #6 wood or machine screw to secure the command station or booster into the mount. The fan module has two alignment pins to provide accurate assembly of the fan module. All 3 parts are in the same STL - you can separate them into objects to print them selectively. We recommend supports for the fan module to support the top of the fan inlet. The main mount should not require any support.
Use this 12V Fan module from Amazon

Shop Tools and Accessories

Tool Tray This tool tray helps keep your sharp objects out of the way of harm yet in easy reach. It holds 15 files, 5 slightly larger-handled tools, 6 standard and two large X-Acto style knives, plus a holder for tweezers and similar tools and a tray to keep parts from rolling away. Prints without any support necessary.

Wheel Holder This Wheel Set Holder keeps your wheel sets aligned when applying resistor chips across the axle insulator. Insert the axles in the slot with the insluation facing the rear. Apply a drop of BSI IC-2000 CA glue to each axle across the insulator, then apply a chip resistor. Once the CA cures, put a drop of silver-bearing condutive paint to both ends of the chip. The trays can hold a bunch of resistor chips for ready access. Six axles seems to be the limit for reasonable working time of the CA. This is an updated version that supports wheels with small bulges at the axle, like Kadee or Intermountain. It also allows placing the wheelset vertically. Approximately 2x3".
The N-Scale version has 2 rows of holders - one for 33" and the other for 36" wheels in the vertical position.

Detail Parts

Cage Ladder A cage ladder, appropriate for most industrial environments. I often cut the rings and ladder rails/rungs to fit. The bottom end should have more exposed rungs, and the upper end should have rails that rise above the top ring.
